The leg opening, or cut of a pant refers to the shape of the leg on a pair of pants. At Dickies, we offer four men's cuts and six women's cuts. 

Skinny

Leg is a snug fit and can usually end in a small leg opening. 

Tapered

Gradually narrows, or tapers, down the leg. Not as narrow as the skinny fit.

Jogger

Joggers tend to taper down to a narrower leg opening. They have an elastic band at the ankle.

Straight

Goes straight down with little variation in width from thigh to ankle. 

Bootcut

Bootcut leg openings fit more narrowly down the leg to the knee. After the knee, the leg widens to be able to fit over a boot.

Wide

Leg is wide all the way from the thigh down to the ankle. This is our baggiest leg opening for women.
